Saturday I had the pleasure of attending the Boston Bruins “Rolling Rally” for their Stanley Cup victory. Over 1.5 million die-hard Bruins fans were in attendance, making it the largest rally in the city’s history. Highlights included Captain Zdeno Chara taking the Cup into the crowd and letting fans touch it. Lowlights included owner Jeremy Jacobs’ lame attempt at humor by noting Cam Neely brought home the Cup while a member of management, “something he couldn’t do while he was skating.” But overall a fantastic celebration for the Bruins and their fans, basking in the championship of the greatest sport in the world.
